The Body in the Piazza: A Faith Fairchild Mystery (Faith Fairchild Mysteries)
Faith Fairchild is going to Italy, where murder and mayhem mix with pecorino, panna cotta, and Prosecco, in the latest entry in this “highly entertaining mystery series [that] effectively mixes modern-day moral dilemmas with charm, warmth, and humor” (Booklist)
The Body in the Piazza
To celebrate their wedding anniversary, intrepid caterer and sometime sleuth Faith Fairchild and her husband, the Reverend Tom Fairchild, are off to Italy for a vacation filled with exquisite indulgences—the art, the Chianti, the food, the Ferragamos! The plan is to spend a romantic weekend in Rome before heading to Tuscany for a stay at Cucina della Rossi, a cooking school founded by Faith’s back-in-the-day assistant Francesca Rossi.
Faith is certain that the only intrigue in store for her will be learning the secret recipe for Nona Rossi’s ragu. But a thicker plot begins to simmer when the Fairchilds accidentally stumble upon a dying man in the Piazza Farnese. It’s clear from the knife in the victim’s chest that murder is on the menu.
Mysterious faces from Rome reappear in Tuscany. To Faith, this is no coincidence. And somebody is intent on sabotaging Francesca’s new business by spoiling the cream and salting the flour. As Faith struggles to follow a trail more twisting than fusilli, she may be putting both herself and her husband in hot water.

The Last Page (Volume 1)
FIVE STARS given by TOTALLY BOOKALICIOUS ? ?The Last Page had me hooked from the start. It?s smart, sassy and very very funny? if you are looking for a quick, light read that is comical and romantic then this will be right up your alley.? BOOKS, ETC. – ?This was a cute, fun novel that was perfect for an end of summer read.? THE BOOK BAG ? ?Lacy made her characters so very believable and real that I felt like I was part of this group of women. This is chick lit at it?s finest!? A COZY READERS CORNER REVIEWS I think any girl can relate to Norah’s story, which makes this title a great chick-lit. If you love fashion, romance, stories with family relationships or dynamics, this one has something for you! It really has a little of everything. Top that with a great writing style and you get The Last Page. TEA AND SCRIBBLES I devoured this book. All the main characters were very relatable to me. I didn’t ever really feel like an outsider looking in on this world, but someone who was learning about the story and was part of the group. This was a very enjoyable book that I would recommend to others and I am looking forward to more in the series and by Camey. Summary: Twenty-three year old Norah Johnson is at a crossroads and is in desperate need to heal after a highly publicized breakup from her major league baseball player boyfriend. To escape, she moves to her summer home at the beach with her sister and best friend where she journals, attends therapy and works on her pending clothing line. When a gorgeous stranger finds her lost journal, he seeks to find the author and make her fall in love with him. But is Norah ready to love again? The low-down your BFF would give you: Norah Johnson has everything going for her ? a fabulous life; a chance-of-a-life-time, career-thrusting opportunity; a well-to-do supportive family, great style and fabulous friends. But everything comes crashing down around her after the discovery that her college-sweetheart-turned-mega-baseball-superstar boyfriend, Truett Jackson, cheated on her during her Mulan fashion internship. Not only did he cheat, but now his attention-prone-wanna-be-Megan Fox-look-alike actress girlfriend is pregnant with his child ? or at least as far as he knows, it?s his child; and consequently, he is now marrying her. Upon such revelation, Norah endures a heart-breaking confrontation the night before Truett?s wedding that causes her life to spiral downhill into a despair she?s never known. But hey! Girls with great ambition and great fashion sense cannot afford to stay down for too long. But, wait, how can one heal after such heartbreak? Does one ever? Norah has to learn how to heal and move forward with her life so she can produce her last final fashion pieces in order to appease her financial backer and, thus, be on her way to opening her dream boutique. But just how fast can a heart really heal? And does one ever heal after such devastating news? Well, it sure helps when part of the healing process involves living in a fabulous summer home on the beach with your sister and absolute BFF. The best psychologist since Good Will Hunting always helps. And then there?s the hottie, much older version of Taylor Lautner look-alike who finds your lost journal, reads it and falls madly in love with you, ?the you on paper?, and is set on finding you and making you fall in love with him. Okay, so this all can really help. The Last Page is a PG, language-free, sex-free, novel (38k words) suitable for all ages…okay, well obviously not for five year olds. This book is an inspirational light hearted read about living and loving again. Book One: The Last Page (Norah’s story) Book Two: The Last Name Banks (Chloe’s story) out now! Book Three: The Last Pretense (Maycee’s story) due late Summer 2012 This series can be read as stand alone novels.
